Requires the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, in cooperation with the Department of Children and Family Services, to establish a pre-Spectrum Alert action plan by July 1, 2027 to locate missing children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)

Mandates development of a training program with crisis intervention team training to equip law enforcement officers with skills to understand ASD, de-escalate interactions, and respond effectively to missing child emergencies

Establishes policies for immediate dissemination of critical information when a child with ASD is reported missing, including contacting media outlets and notifying all on-duty officers

Requires law enforcement agencies to communicate missing child reports to all other law enforcement agencies in surrounding parishes

Implementation is contingent on legislative appropriation of funds; effective August 1, 2026
