Enacts R.S. 30:554.1 to prevent laws governing usufruct and predial servitudes from imposing affirmative duties on pipeline operators beyond what is explicitly stated in the servitude contract

Defines "pipeline" broadly to include any pipeline, gathering line, transmission, or distribution line used for transporting substances such as natural gas, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, crude oil, petroleum products, and produced water

Defines "pipeline operator" as any person or entity that owns, operates, maintains, or controls a pipeline

Applies prospectively only to claims and causes of action arising on or after August 1, 2026
