Establishes a 12-member Louisiana-Ireland Trade Commission to advance bilateral trade and investment, promote business and academic exchanges, and encourage mutual economic support and infrastructure investment between Louisiana and Ireland

Commission membership includes 2 state senators, 2 state representatives, 1 restaurant industry representative, 1 oil and gas industry representative, and 6 governor appointees (including at least 1 higher education representative and 2 Irish-American community representatives)

All appointments must be made by September 1, 2026, with the first meeting convened by October 1, 2026 at the call of the Senate president

Commission must submit a written report with findings, recommendations, and specific legislative proposals to the governor and legislature by March 1, 2027

Members serve without compensation except for per diem or expense reimbursement; commission terminates upon report submission or August 1, 2027, whichever occurs first
