Louisiana Senate commends Rachel Henry as the 2025-2026 "Student of the Year" at Live Oak High School in Livingston Parish, also recognized as Livingston Parish Student of the Year and a Louisiana Department of Education Regional Honoree

Rachel achieved a 4.2 GPA, ACT score of 31, and earned more than 40 hours of college credit through AP and dual enrollment courses

Demonstrated 12 years of piano study, 11 years in the gifted and talented music program, and 6 years serving as vocalist and pianist on her church worship team

Four-year member of the track and field team competing in javelin and discus, earning two varsity letters and LHSAA All-Academic athlete recognition

Awarded the Smith Scholarship, a full four-year scholarship covering tuition, room, and board, to attend Louisiana Christian University to pursue psychology and counseling
