Authorizes pharmacists to order, test, screen, and treat influenza, streptococcal infections, COVID-19, and other public health threats identified by the department

Requires the department to establish standard procedures for pharmacists to test, screen, and initiate treatment for qualified health conditions

Permits pharmacists to use any CLIA-waived test or established statewide screening procedure to guide clinical decision making

Allows pharmacists to delegate administrative and technical testing tasks to pharmacy technicians under their supervision

Prohibits health insurers from denying reimbursement for pharmacist services that would be covered if performed by a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant; requires insurers and PBMs to develop adequate provider codes for pharmacy compensation
