Prohibits health insurance carriers from requiring primary care provider referrals or prior authorization for specialty gynecological care from in-network obstetricians, gynecologists, certified nurse-midwives, or family practitioners

Covers annual preventive gynecologic exams and any subsequent obstetric or gynecological services deemed medically necessary from those exams

Eliminates referral requirements for preventive gynecologic care and menstrual health conditions including abnormal uterine bleeding, dysmenorrhea, and pelvic pain

Allows direct access to maternity care without PCP referral

Permits immediate access to evaluations and treatment for acute or emergency gynecological conditions without prior authorization
