Full-time public firefighters must receive physician-conducted cancer screenings starting no less than 3 years after employment begins, then every 3 years throughout their career

Coverage extends to firefighters at Massachusetts Military Reservation, 104th Fighter Wing, Devens fire department, Massachusetts Port Authority, and Barnes Air National Guard Base

Required screenings must include, at minimum: colon, lung, bladder, oral, thyroid, skin, blood, breast, cervical, testicular, and prostate cancers (when applicable)

Employer-provided health plans must cover all screening costs with no co-payments, deductibles, coinsurance, or other out-of-pocket expenses for firefighters
