Expands the types of providers authorized to diagnose and treat autism spectrum disorder by adding licensed nurse practitioners and licensed psychiatric nurse mental health clinical specialists alongside physicians

Amends multiple insurance-related chapters of Massachusetts General Laws, including state employee insurance (Chapter 32A), MassHealth/Medicaid (Chapter 118E), and private insurance regulations (Chapters 175, 176A, 176B, and 176G)

Updates definitions of "pharmacy care" and "treatment of autism spectrum disorders" across all affected insurance statutes to include the expanded provider types

Modifies disability verification requirements under Chapter 15C to allow nurse practitioners and psychiatric nurse specialists to sign verifications

Requires all affected health insurance policies delivered, issued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2027 to conform with these provisions, subject to approval by the commissioner of insurance
