Requires all Massachusetts health insurers to cover pain management during IUD insertion, including intravenous sedation, oral sedation, nitrous oxide, local anesthesia, and topical anesthesia when prescribed by a provider

Eliminates cost-sharing requirements (deductibles, copayments, coinsurance) for covered pain control methods, with limited exceptions under federal law

Applies to Group Insurance Commission plans, MassHealth/Medicaid, individual and group accident/sickness insurance, hospital service plans, medical service agreements, and HMO contracts

Exempts employers that are churches or qualified church-controlled organizations, provided they give written notice to prospective enrollees listing excluded contraceptive services

Takes effect for policies delivered, issued, or renewed on or after September 1, 2026
