Establishes a primary care workforce development and loan forgiveness grant program at community health centers to enhance recruitment and retention of physicians, clinicians, and support staff including community health workers, recovery coaches, and family partners

Prioritizes clinicians and bachelor's degree-level mental health and primary care professionals, with emphasis on building a culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse workforce

Requires eligible individuals to work at a community health center, have outstanding educational debt, not participate in other loan repayment programs, and commit to a minimum 4-year contract with the Commonwealth

Administered by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, which may contract with an outside organization and must promulgate regulations including penalties for non-compliance

Funded through the Behavioral Health and Community-Based Primary Care Reserve established by Chapter 102 of the Acts of 2021
