Eliminates the licensing examination requirement for Licensed Certified Social Workers while retaining exams only for Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers

Creates a paid practicum placement grant program for Master of Social Work (MSW) students attending Council on Social Work Education-accredited programs in Massachusetts, with priority focus on recruiting students from historically marginalized and low-income communities

Allows Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers to earn up to 8 continuing education credits per licensing period for providing one-on-one supervision to other social workers or interns

Requires the Executive Office of Health and Human Services to evaluate the impact of removing the exam requirement, analyzing effects on workforce shortages, diversity, access to behavioral health services, and patient care for vulnerable populations
