Prohibits public higher education institutions (University of Massachusetts and state university systems) from considering an applicant's familial relationship to graduates when making admission decisions

Extends the same legacy preference ban to all degree-granting private institutions in Massachusetts authorized by the Board of Higher Education

Bars institutions from including information in admissions documents that discloses which colleges or universities any relative of the applicant attended

Takes effect for admission decisions leading to initial enrollment in the 2026-2027 school year and thereafter
