Establishes a minimum 3-month Massachusetts residency requirement for eligibility in the state's emergency housing assistance program

Exempts veterans and their immediate family members, domestic violence victims, and persons displaced by fires or natural disasters occurring in Massachusetts from the residency requirement

Requires applicants to provide proof of residency documentation, which may include federal/state IDs, mail, financial statements, and bills

Applies only to applications submitted on or after the effective date of the act

Amends Chapter 23B, Section 30 of the General Laws (previously modified by Chapter 7 of the Acts of 2023)
