Amends Section 73 of Chapter 272 of the General Laws to establish a minimum fine of $1,000 for destruction, defacement, or damage to burial tombs and grave markers

Creates a mandatory minimum sentence of 6 months that cannot be reduced, suspended, or otherwise avoided through probation, parole, or furlough

Prohibits good conduct deductions from the sentence until the convicted person has served at least 6 months

Bars prosecutions under this section from being continued without a finding or placed on file

Excludes defendants charged under this section from the provisions of Section 87 of Chapter 276 (which typically allows certain case dispositions)
