Amends Chapter 209A to allow Superior Court judges to issue permanent abuse prevention orders at sentencing for defendants convicted of violent crimes against family members, household members, or dating partners

Applies to felonies involving physical force, crimes committed while a 209A order was active, and 15 specific offenses including assault and battery on family members, strangulation, stalking, rape, kidnapping, and witness intimidation

Victims who already have an active protective order can request the permanent order at the defendant's sentencing without requiring an additional hearing

Superior Court can issue these permanent orders even if the original protective order was issued by Boston Municipal Court, District Court, or Probate Court

Extends protection to minor family or household members who qualify under the statute
