Replaces the definition of "wire communication" with "transmitted communication" in Massachusetts wiretap law (Chapter 272, Section 99) to cover modern technologies including wireless, electronic, digital, cellular, satellite, and optical communications

Expands coverage to include texts, images, photographs, videos, and data transmitted via smartphones and similar devices, while excluding tone-only pagers, tracking devices, and electronic funds transfer information

Broadens "designated offenses" eligible for wiretap warrants beyond organized crime to include any homicide, crimes involving force or threats of force, controlled substance violations, firearms-related crimes, and human trafficking

Allows wiretaps for conspiracy, attempt, solicitation, or being an accessory to any of the newly designated offenses
