Amends Section 148B of Chapter 149 of the General Laws by changing the word "and" to "or" in line 9, modifying the criteria for classifying workers as independent contractors

Changes Massachusetts' three-prong independent contractor test from a conjunctive standard (all three conditions must be met) to a disjunctive standard (only one condition must be met)

Would make it significantly easier for businesses to classify workers as independent contractors rather than employees
