Wayland may hold annual and special town meetings in fully remote, hybrid, or in-person formats, notwithstanding existing state laws requiring physical attendance

All remote or hybrid town meetings must be recorded and posted on the town's website for at least 30 days after the meeting concludes

Meeting recordings become permanent town records subject to public disclosure requests

Actions taken at remote or hybrid meetings carry the same legal validity as those taken at in-person meetings

Local approval from the town of Wayland has already been received for this home-rule petition
