MBTA communities designated as "adjacent" may petition the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities to request a review of their designation

Petitions must include evidence that the designation imposes undue burdens due to lack of infrastructure or resources to support the zoning requirements

The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities must promulgate regulations establishing criteria and procedures for reviewing petitions

The review process would determine whether a community's designation should be modified based on the evidence submitted
