Executive Office of Health and Human Services must establish and maintain a registry of direct care workers employed by agencies whose rates are set under Chapter 257 of 2008

Direct care worker agencies must report quarterly on each worker: full name, unique ID number, gender, home and mailing addresses, employer name, job title, completed trainings/certifications, and Medication Administration Program certification status (pass, fail, or pending)

Only limited information (name, ID number, employer, and certifications) will be publicly available; full registry data will be provided to employee organizations and direct care worker agencies upon request

Exemptions from reporting requirements must be established for victims of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, or stalking

Direct care workers shall not be responsible for any costs related to the registry, and the bill is declared an emergency law for immediate implementation
