Establishes an Amputation Prevention Task Force within the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, chaired by the secretary or designee

Task force membership includes 4 legislators (2 House, 2 Senate), state health officials, medical specialists (endocrinologist, vascular surgeon, podiatrists, diabetes nurse educator), a VA representative, and representatives from senior care and diabetes advocacy organizations

Focuses specifically on preventing amputations related to diabetic foot ulcers and peripheral arterial disease

Task force must recommend policy solutions on insurance coverage for treatments like topical oxygen therapy, access to evidence-supported medical technologies, and quality care incentives

Report due to the Governor and relevant legislative committees by September 1 of the year following enactment
