Establishes a special legislative commission to examine and recommend improvements to care, support, and resources for individuals experiencing Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), a severe pregnancy-related condition

Commission membership includes approximately 50 members: legislators from relevant committees, state health officials, representatives from maternal health organizations (HER Foundation, March of Dimes, Preeclampsia Foundation), physicians, nurses, midwives, doulas, and individuals who have experienced HG

Commission must investigate insurance coverage for HG medications and nutritional therapies, evaluate provider training on HG diagnosis and management, and review paid leave policies for those with debilitating HG

Appointments must prioritize individuals from underserved communities and reflect racial and geographic diversity, with lay members representing communities most impacted by maternal health inequities

Final report with legislative recommendations due to the House and Senate clerks by September 1, 2026
