Establishes a commission to study the benefits of direct primary care practices and how to promote these services in Massachusetts to ease healthcare system burden and improve access to care

Commission will examine reduced health care and prescription drug costs, cost transparency, enhanced access to care, and improved health outcomes

Commission membership includes the Secretary of Health & Human Services (chair), legislative committee chairs from public health and healthcare financing, Massachusetts Health and Hospital Association CEO, 2 direct primary care industry representatives, and minority party appointees

Requires at least 3 public hearings with input from hospital systems, direct primary care physicians, and patient advocacy organizations

Final report with findings and policy recommendations due within 12 months of passage
