Board of Registration in Medicine must collect data on physician workforce composition including race, ethnicity, gender identity, linguistic background, medical specialty, practice location, and employment status beginning January 1, 2027

Physician license applicants and those renewing licenses will be asked to provide demographic and practice information, but participation is voluntary and will not affect licensure decisions

Collected data must be aggregated, de-identified, and published on the Center for Health Information and Analysis website within 60 days after each year ends

Center for Health Information and Analysis must submit annual reports to the Legislature and Department of Public Health by February 28th each year

Sale of collected physician workforce data to third parties is prohibited
