Establishes a special commission to investigate homelessness among women in Massachusetts

Commission membership includes 2 House members, 2 Senate members, the Governor or designee, Secretary of Health and Human Services, Commissioner of Public Health, and Secretary of Housing and Economic Development

Co-chairs appoint 6 additional representatives including experts from Health Care Without Walls, homeless shelters, housing advocacy organizations, health care disparities specialists, academic researchers, and an individual who has experienced homelessness

Commission must conduct a community needs assessment and make recommendations on prevention, shelter improvements, permanent housing opportunities, data collection, and access to health care and social services for homeless women

Findings and recommendations due to legislative clerks and relevant committee chairs by July 31, 2023
