Amends Section 39 of Chapter 63 of Massachusetts General Laws to replace the existing corporate minimum tax with a nine-tier structure based on total sales in the commonwealth

Corporations with less than $1 million in sales pay $456 minimum tax; those with $1-5 million pay $1,500; $5-10 million pay $2,500

Mid-range tiers: $10-25 million in sales pay $3,500; $25-50 million pay $5,000; $50-100 million pay $10,000

Upper tiers: $100-500 million in sales pay $25,000; $500 million to $1 billion pay $75,000

Corporations with $1 billion or more in Massachusetts sales pay the maximum minimum tax of $150,000
