Massachusetts Department of Transportation must adopt and implement a program to prevent and mitigate wrong-way driving on limited-access roadways, in consultation with the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security

Program may include installation of new highway safety technology, capital improvements, and changes to highway design and traffic control device guidelines

MassDOT must submit program details including a projected budget and implementation schedule to the House and Senate Ways and Means committees and Joint Committee on Transportation co-chairs

Program details must be made publicly available on the department's website by June 30, 2026
