Requires every school committee in Massachusetts cities, towns, and school districts to establish an LGBTQIA+ parent advisory council

Membership open to parents who identify as LGBTQIA+, parents of LGBTQIA+ children, and other interested parties

Councils will advise school committees on education and safety of LGBTQIA+ students, participate in planning and evaluation of district programs, and review school and district improvement plans

School committees and school councils must meet at least annually with the advisory council upon request; charter school boards have the same requirement

Effective date: January 1, 2027, with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education responsible for implementing regulations
