Ratifies and validates all acts and proceedings from the Town of Hardwick's special election held on January 18, 2025, which was inadvertently held 3 days past the 90-day statutory deadline following the October 17, 2024 town meeting

Voters approved a debt exclusion under Proposition 2½ for an $860,000 bond to purchase a new fire truck to replace the town's 37-year-old vehicle

Filed by Governor Maura Healey at the request of Hardwick's Select Board to resolve legal questions arising from the procedural timing error

The town otherwise complied with all statutory requirements for the election, and has already contracted for the replacement fire truck which is ready for delivery

Takes effect immediately upon passage
