Requires all Massachusetts health insurers, including the Group Insurance Commission, Medicaid, and private insurers, to cover collaborative drug therapy provided by pharmacists for opioid use disorder treatment

Mandates reimbursement rates for pharmacists at levels not less than those provided to other nonphysician practitioners such as nurse practitioners and physician assistants

Grants pharmacists the same participation rights, plan admission, and registration privileges as other healthcare providers when delivering covered opioid use disorder services

Applies to multiple insurance types including individual and group plans, hospital service plans, medical service agreements, and health maintenance organizations

Requires the Division of Medical Assistance to submit a Medicaid state plan amendment to the federal government by June 30, 2025 to implement these coverage requirements
