Authorizes the town of Wellesley to increase the 15-mile residency limit for members of the regular police and fire departments beyond the current state requirement under M.G.L. Chapter 41, Section 99A

Any increase to the residency limit must be negotiated through a collective bargaining agreement under Chapter 150E of the General Laws

Applies specifically to non-civil service public safety personnel in Wellesley

Filed as a home rule petition with local approval already received from the town

Takes effect immediately upon passage
