Town of Westford authorized to release agricultural preservation restrictions on portions of land at 66 Boston Road needed for Massachusetts Department of Transportation's Boston Road rehabilitation project

Affected parcels (20-E-1, 20-GR-PUE-2, and 20-PUE-14) are located along the northeasterly side of Boston Road, with original restrictions dating from 1997-1999

MassDOT must provide mitigation funding of at least 110% of fair market value or value in use (whichever is greater) to Westford's Community Preservation Fund for acquiring replacement conservation or agricultural land within 3 years

All parcels used for construction must be restored to pre-construction condition; MassDOT assumes all costs for engineering, surveys, appraisals, and deed preparation

Agricultural preservation restrictions remain in full force and effect on all portions of the land not specifically released under this act
