Health benefit plans must provide full coverage for electronic tracking devices for individuals diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or Autism spectrum disorder, subject to standard co-payments, coinsurance, deductibles, and out-of-pocket limits

Eligible tracking devices must be waterproof (IP66 and IP68 compliant), work indoors without GPS line-of-sight, and operate independently of cellular or public communication networks

Devices must feature tamper-resistant wrist or ankle straps that caregivers can change, plus patient-specific identification codes to prevent mistaken identities

Coverage requires a diagnosis from a licensed physician and consent from the individual or their guardian
