Topics under study include: federal E-Verify employment eligibility verification, paid family medical leave employer requirements, hazard pay for essential workers during emergencies, Commonwealth Employment Relations Board structure, and building permits/job site safety.

Addresses Department of Unemployment Assistance issues including fraud prevention policies, online portal improvements (adding status bars to track claim progress), and general department operations.

Committee must file its findings, recommendations, and any draft legislation with the Clerk of the House of Representatives by December 31, 2026.
