State Board of Retirement shall credit Jason Patrissi, an employee of the Massachusetts probation service, with up to 6 years of creditable service toward his retirement allowance

Creditable service covers work performed for Vermont's Department of Corrections from December 1998 to March 2006

Vermont service must be determined by the State Board of Retirement to be equivalent to Patrissi's Massachusetts probation service work

Patrissi must pay into the state employees' retirement annuity savings fund an amount equal to the contributions that would have been withheld during that period, plus regular interest

Declared an emergency law for immediate effect to provide retirement benefits without delay
