All Massachusetts public school districts must ensure every high school student develops an individual learning plan (MyCAP) starting in ninth grade, with support from a designated educator and a state-approved online platform

Individual learning plans must outline a pathway from secondary to post-secondary education or career, including coursework, sequencing, and experiences beyond the classroom

Students may adapt and modify their plans throughout high school, and districts must make reasonable efforts to provide the experiences identified in student plans

Districts must report annually to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education on compliance progress
