All public schools must provide seizure recognition and first aid training to principals, teachers, guidance counselors, bus drivers, classroom aides, and other personnel who supervise children

Parents of students with seizure disorders must provide written authorization, a healthcare provider statement with medication details, and collaborate with schools to create an individualized seizure action plan that is renewed annually

Public schools must provide age-appropriate seizure education programs to all students, consistent with Epilepsy Foundation of America guidelines

School districts and employees acting in good faith under a student's health plan are protected from criminal and civil liability; the act takes effect one year after enactment
