School councils must hold at least 2 meetings per year for parents/guardians of K-12 students to discuss child wellbeing: one within the first 12 weeks of school and one within 8 weeks after the new year break

Schools must provide information packets to parents covering how to spot depression or aggressive thoughts in students and ways to combat future violence

Students must receive packets to bring home to parents/guardians during both required meeting periods

School councils must conduct in-person trainings for parents on managing their child's wellbeing at home

Department of Elementary and Secondary Education must assist school councils in preparing the packets and training materials
