Requires school committees to hold a public hearing before changing any school branding (mascots, nicknames, logos, team names, slogans, mottos) that references a person, group, organization, race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity

Mandates that at least one representative of the group or identity referenced in the current school branding attend the hearing and be given the opportunity to speak

Defines "school branding" broadly to include any name, symbol, or image used as a mascot, nickname, logo, letterhead, team name, slogan, motto, or other identifier

Directs the commissioner to adopt rules and regulations to implement the new requirements

Amends Chapter 71 of the General Laws by adding new Section 37S
