Establishes ranked choice voting for elections to five Lexington town offices: moderator, select board, school committee, Lexington housing authority, and planning board, effective January 1, 2025

Ranked choice voting applies only when single-seat races have more than two candidates or multi-seat races have more candidates than available seats

For single-seat elections, candidates are eliminated in rounds until one candidate achieves a majority; for multi-seat elections, candidates must meet an election threshold calculated by dividing total votes by seats plus one, then adding one

Includes provisions for batch elimination of multiple low-vote candidates simultaneously and detailed tie-breaking procedures using prior round vote totals or runoffs if necessary

Requires the Town Clerk to publish round-by-round tabulation results and authorizes the clerk to issue administrative guidance for implementing the voting system
