Mandates that AI-generated content include metadata identifying it as AI-created, the specific system/platform used, and the date and time of creation, with disclosures designed to be permanent or difficult to remove

Prohibits any person in Massachusetts from removing AI disclosure notices or labels from AI-generated content

Violations by AI systems are punishable under Chapter 93A (consumer protection law); individuals who remove disclosures face fines of at least $500 for first offense and $1,000 for subsequent offenses

Assigns enforcement authority to the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, with power to establish implementing rules and regulations
