Prohibits the distribution, sale, or use of chlorpyrifos (a broad-spectrum organophosphate pesticide) on agricultural land or crops in Massachusetts after December 31, 2026

Allows two exceptions to the ban: state or federal licenses for chlorpyrifos research, or state permits when no viable alternative exists

Authorizes the Department of Food and Agriculture to promulgate rules and regulations for implementation

Establishes a task force to study non-agricultural uses of chlorpyrifos, including applications on golf courses, turf, greenhouses, wood treatments, mosquito abatement, and pest bait stations

Task force must submit recommendations on ecological and human health impacts, plus alternative pest control methods, to the governor and legislature by December 31, 2026
