Amends Chapter 221, Section 88 of Massachusetts General Laws to set court transcript rates at $4.50 per page for originals and $1.50 per page for copies, with reduced rates of $0.15 per page for indigent persons

Rush transcripts cost $6.75 per page for originals and $2.25 per page for copies, with indigent rate of $0.23 per page

Transcripts ordered by presiding justices or district attorneys in criminal cases are paid by the administrative office of the trial court and taxed as case expenses

Police statements ordered transcribed by a presiding justice must be provided to all parties, with payment made by the administrative office of the trial court

Beginning July 1, 2030, and every five years thereafter, all transcript rates will be automatically adjusted based on cumulative Consumer Price Index changes
