Armed robbery committed while masked or disguised carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years for a first offense and 10 years for subsequent offenses

Armed robbery of a bank or credit union, or robbery involving firearms, improvised explosive devices, hypodermic needles, or other devices intended to cause injury carries a mandatory minimum of 5 years, increasing to 15 years for subsequent offenses

Unarmed robbery using force or intimidation, including attempted bank or credit union robbery, carries a sentence of life imprisonment or not less than 30 months

Larceny cases involving forged, altered, or counterfeit checks may be prosecuted either where the crime occurred or where the payee bank's main office is located

Legal actions related to fraudulent check collection may be brought in courts where either the plaintiff or defendant lives or has a place of business
