Department of Public Health must create a real-time, statewide Hospital Capacity Coordination Dashboard to track hospital bed availability, capacity, and capability during public health emergencies or patient surges

Dashboard development requires collaboration with healthcare providers with clinical, emergency management, and hospital operations expertise, as well as legislators

Department of Public Health, Executive Office of Technology Services, and Executive Office of Health and Human Services must provide staffing and funding, subject to future legislative appropriation

Upon completion, a healthcare coalition representing medical providers will assume administrative control of the dashboard and all associated data

Electronic tool must be completed within 1 year of the act's effective date
