Organizations formed under Chapter 180 of the General Laws (nonprofit corporations, including clubs and fraternal organizations) must provide and maintain at least one fully functional automated external defibrillator (AED) for emergency use

Mandatory CPR and AED training required for all organizational staff, all members, and any other individuals designated by organizational leadership

Training must follow standards established by the American Heart Association or the American National Red Cross

Establishes a state fund, subject to appropriation, to assist covered organizations with AED procurement, maintenance, and required training costs
