Eligible expenditures include research, environmental and biologic sample collection, modeling, surveys, public engagement, and administrative costs

Fund sources include legislative appropriations, public/private grants, authorized transfers, and state/federal cost recovery from hazardous waste health investigations

Requires annual reporting of itemized expenditures to the House and Senate clerks and Ways and Means committees, with all research findings published on General Court and department websites
