Amends Section 23A of Chapter 112 of the General Laws to update the statutory definition of "physical therapy" in Massachusetts

Expands the scope of physical therapy evaluation to explicitly include administration and interpretation of diagnostic imaging, electrodiagnostic, and electrophysiological tests as aids to diagnosis and patient management planning

Authorizes physical therapists to directly recommend and prescribe durable medical equipment to patients without requiring a physician's order

Defines physical therapy practice as covering neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, integumentary, and respiratory functions through evaluation, prevention, treatment, management, and education

Maintains existing provisions allowing physical therapists to delegate selective treatments to assistants and aides while retaining supervisory responsibility
