Municipal lighting plants may be exempt from public records requirements (Chapter 66, Section 10) and open meeting requirements (Chapter 30A, Sections 20-21) when protecting trade secrets, confidential, or competitively sensitive information

Exemptions apply when the municipal lighting plant board determines disclosure would adversely affect customers or the plant's ability to conduct business

Municipal aggregators and governmental cooperatives organized for electric power distribution may withhold trade secrets and competitively sensitive information from public disclosure under Chapter 66

Public entities remain subject to any disclosure requirements that apply to similarly licensed private entities
