Explores micro-transit as a solution to close mobility gaps, enhance connectivity between existing transit services, and address transportation inequities for underserved geographies and populations

Commission includes 17+ members: legislative co-chairs from the Joint Committee on Transportation, minority party appointees, regional transit authority administrators, representatives from MassDOT, disability advocates, rural policy experts, aging councils, public health, and healthcare organizations

Final report with recommendations due within 15 months of enactment, to be filed with legislative clerks, Ways and Means committees, Joint Committee on Transportation, and Secretary of Transportation
